Join our team as a Site Engineer, where you will be responsible for ensuring the operational integrity and efficiency of our integrated facility. You'll work in an ONSITE environment, overseeing technical systems and critical maintenance tasks to keep our data center running smoothly and securely.
Responsibilities
Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance of data center infrastructure including power, cooling, and security systems.
Monitor and operate data center monitoring tools to track equipment performance, environmental conditions, and energy consumption.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to electrical, mechanical, and network systems within the data center.
Implement and maintain physical and network security protocols.
Maintain accurate documentation, records, and reports on all maintenance activities and incidents.
Participate in emergency response efforts, power outages, and disaster recovery planning and execution.
Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance or upgrades.
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and operational standards.
Must have requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in integrated data center maintenance or operations.
Deep knowledge of FM solutions; prior exposure to sectors such as Transport, Airports, Energy, Infrastructure, Healthcare, or Education is advantageous.
Strong understanding of data center layouts, including server racks, cooling systems (CRAC, HVAC), PDUs, UPS, and cabling infrastructure.
Expertise in electrical systems — power distribution, backup systems (generators, batteries), circuitry, and grounding.
Familiarity with data center HVAC, including precision air conditioning, airflow, and temperature/humidity controls.
Ability to use monitoring tools for performance, environmental, and power usage tracking.
Understanding of physical, network, and data security protocols.
Proficiency in maintaining records, generating SOPs, maintenance logs, and performance reports.
Knowledge of incident management, emergency responses to outages and failures, and disaster recovery plans.
Nice to have requirements
Certifications related to data center operations (e.g., CDCP, CDCS, DCCA, or equivalent).
Experience with remote data center management tools and platforms.
Background in managing or supporting projects in highly regulated or mission-critical sectors.
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a multicultural environment.
Experience with automation or smart systems integration in data centers.
