Role Overview
- As a Data Center Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring efficient and compliant operational processes, driving strategic improvements, and delivering high-quality service within our facility. As part of our team in Abu Dhabi - United Arab Emirates, you'll work in an ONSITE environment supporting the growth and excellence of our industrial zone operations. You will be responsible for managing teams, enhancing operational workflows, and ensuring that all activities adhere to both regulatory and HSE standards.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations within the industrial zone to ensure optimal efficiency and compliance.
- Lead, mentor, and develop operational teams to achieve organizational goals.
- Drive and implement continuous process improvements and operational excellence initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory, compliance, and HSE requirements in all operations.
- Manage budgets, operational costs, and resource allocation effectively.
- Coordinate with stakeholders, service providers, and clients to deliver high standards of service.
- Analyze operational performance data and provide actionable insights for improvement.
- Utilize MS Office and operational management tools to track and report on key performance indicators.
Must have requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in operations management, preferably within industrial zones, logistics, or facility management sectors.
- Proven track record of successfully leading teams and driving operational improvements.
- Strong knowledge of compliance, regulatory requirements, and HSE standards.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and relevant operational management software.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken).
Nice to have requirements
- Professional certifications such as PMP, ITIL, or Uptime Institute certification.
- Experience working in the UAE or GCC region’s industrial zones.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies and Lean/Six Sigma practices.
- Proficiency in Arabic language.
- Master’s degree in a related discipline.
