Deputy DC Manager

Deputy DC Manager is responsible for managing 24/7 data center facility operations. They are in charge of planning, organizing, and coordinating the daily professional operations. This role is accountable for Data center facility equipment maintenance and inventory, customer service, employee management, and ensuring compliance with security and safety regulations

 

• Managing the performance of team of data center facility engineers.
• Ensuring effective and efficient management of day-to-day data center operations including queue management, 7/24 shift arrangement and hardware logistics.
• Responsible for the Implementation of staff training programs, coaching, teams certificate requirements.
• Supporting the culture of teamwork at the site.
• Managing and improving the workflows and throughput for data centers facility activities.
• Empowering team members with skills to improve their product knowledge, and communication skills.
• Conducting quarterly performance reviews for the shift technicians and facility engineers.
• Managing relationships with operations team.

• Managing Large Scale Events (outages) and act as the call leader
• Managing the facility planning, maintenance and documentation.
• Interacting with system managers and vendors to coordinate the maintenance and repair of the electrical, mechanical and light current systems.
• Managing and supervising the regular testing of primary and backup facility equipment.
• Reviewing facility preventive, corrective and reactive maintenance.
• Reviewing existing procedures and propose and implementing additional maintenance procedures needed in addition to being responsible for and maintaining Data Center regulations, rules and procedures concerning security, privacy, health, safety and environmental protection.
